I am a Machinical Turker and have been doing online job with mturk for six months as a full time job, I have to say it is really great. I have been able to earn enough money to decorate my home and furnish my home too. I had enough money saved for my future and to spend with my friends too, but because I had earned money through Mturk, I was able to use it for my PR visa to australia. I came to know about this mturk through my friend, and thought I would check it out and see what all the fuss about it was. I was hooked right from the start. I started with fairly simple tasks and as my confidence grew, I started accepting more involved HITS. I’m not saying you will ever get rich by doing HITS, but it’s a great way to use your time till you could get one good job and still contiune it as a part time job (instead of watching TV or mindlessly surfing the web), and earn some extra pocket money while doing it. This earnings form mturk is really getting bigger and bigger day by day and very useful to me and my family. I dined in inexpensive restaurants. There have been times when I’ve been a little low on cash and have used my earnings to pay my phone bill or my electricity bill That’s what I love about Mturk and really hoping that i would continue this for ever and make some useful pocket money to me and my family.
I’ve been turking now for about 6 weeks with no real goal in mind except to make a few extra dollars – although “extra” is a fantasy right now. I need every dollar I can get my hands on since I, like many others, am laid off from corporate America. I have since set a goal. My nephew is getting married in Las Vegas in December and I want to be there. I need to make enough to cover the airfare and the room. I love turking! I approach it as a job, getting up in the morning, making coffee, and then sitting down for a few hours of turking. Then I take a break, look for a job or do chores, then back at the turking. I also turk when I can’t sleep or when I’m bored. I find that it allows me to use my brain for something other than complaining about the state of our economy. I have resigned myself that the “good old days” are just that – old. My life has changed dramatically from a monetary standpoint but has gotten better from a stress level standpoint. Migraines are all but gone, I’ve almost eliminated two of the three medicines I was taking daily and I am able to find the time to enjoy life. Definitely different than the life I was used to. The very best thing of all is the time I am able to spend with my family, especially my mom and my son. We have a great relationship and I am thankful for every day we share.
Initially i don’t know about this work. My friend said everything but i am not impressed because they are many spam and frauds are their on internet. I estimated mturk as like that. But after two months i saw cheque of mturk by which i was shocked and showed some interest. I worked hard to know the work. I went to friend daily for 10days and learnt the process. When I started to do this work initially the work used to be rejected a lot. I was vexed and thought to stop at some point of time. Later I got assistant from requesters as well as Amazon administrators. But no one believes it because they can’t help me to the work. Let me explain you clearly. When the hit submitted by me used to reject, along with that they gives comment why it was rejected. I rectified it, noticed where I was committing mistake. Beyond that if do the work with commitment they used to pay bonus for some type of work. Yes really it helps me a lot in my finance with which I am leading a good life. That means it gives a good support for me. Now I am very comfortable with mturk work as well as giving solutions to my requesters. And also some tasks are allotted to me. Now I recollected those days with present days how my work has been changed and leading a comfortable life satisfying myself as well as work assigners. Really I thank mturk for providing such a great service.
