I have been a Mechanical Turk for two months
Websites such as Mechanical Turk provide a good opportunity for people to show their talents and get paid while doing it. This website was suggested to me by someone who knows of my love for writing. I have been a Mechanical Turk for two months and I’ve found this experience to be both good and bad. I am a writer so I enjoy the essays that are available. The problem is that I find some requesters want way to much work for the money they are paying. On some Hits, by the time you’ve finish reading the required information that is wanted, and how they want it done, you have already spent a good deal of time on that hit before actually beginning. I have completed many qualifications in hopes of creating more options, making more hits available. Still the number of hits I have available to me is very limited . What would be helpful here, is some good advice from people who have been a Mechanical Turk for a long time, and know the tips and tricks of making good money and creating recurrent jobs by single requesters. I feel this site needs to provide more information for writers that don’t want to write for just anybody. Some good solid Hit advice and what qualifications will get you the furthest are valuable information. The better we complete the Hits, the more requesters will be coming to Mechanical Turk to offer jobs. A newsletter, advice section, competitions…. There’s so much more that can be done that isn’t, but I’m patient and see the potential of what Mechanical Turk can provide to their members.
