About This Blog

Your Anonymous Turk in L.A.

Unemployed student and mom who is desperate for work, that’s my byline. Thanks to an awesome website dedicated to helping people find legitimate online work without being ripped off I am a Turk. I find myself spending long hours looking for enough hits so I can afford a tank of gas but the well paying hits a few and far between. I need to pay my late car note and get a tank of gas, rent a textbook for the summer session and by bread. (sigh) Gosh can’t these pending hits turn over a little faster? I work hard, fast, and thoroughly but it’s not enough. This hard working Turk would be super excited if I could get a call back or even interview from anyone. Minimum wage would be awesome…did I just say awesome about a minimum wage job, I did? See what this economy is doing to me. Wow I’m wasting time aren’t I? I better stop ‘cause a hit is awaiting and I need that .20 for ten minutes of my time which only averages out to .02 cents a minute and $1.20 an hour (sigh again) I’ll do it anyway because the alternative is that I won’t have twenty cents to put in my overdrawn account. I hope Amazon appreciate their Turk’s because we so are not getting any love in our inbox. No thanks for remotely accessing the sweatshop at a cost the higher than I can afford. Oh well back to Turking, Turking, Turking day and night. Signed Your Anonymous Turk in L.A.
