I once had a dream of taking off from everything
My family. It is large and blended in many areas and we all love each other dearly. No one in this family has step parents or step/half siblings. When the blended families came in, they were accepted wholly. In one case it meant that I became a great grandmother at the age of 52 but so be it. That great grand puts a sparkle in my eye as quick as any of the rest and I love her for it. I once had a dream of taking off from everything and running off to the Yukon. I still have it tucked back and dream about it occassionally but it will never happen. Unconditional love, trust, companionship and security go a long way in my world and I wouldn’t give it up for anything.
